A crate will also help break in your puppy when it starts to stay in your house. as a general rule of thumb the crate teaches your puppy potty training because a vizsla will not soil the area where it sleeps. you must also remember that a crate should not be used as punishment for your pet vizsla.. "respect training" is the dog training method i use and recommend for training vizslas. a dog who respects you will do what you say and will stop what he's doing when you tell him "no." teaching your dog to respect you means interacting with him in specific ways that encourage respect. solving behavior problems.
